Corporate Social Responsibility
Environmental impact
Through our Climate Working Group, we are actively working towards net-zero emissions and a significant reduction in the music industry’s environmental impact as a whole. In collaboration with AIM, IMPALA, and Murmur, we have developed sustainable practices upheld by public policy advocacy, including:
- Offices and servers powered by a 100% green energy cooperative.
- Favoring sea freight over air, and train travel within the EU.
- Vinyl records pressed using 100% renewable energy initiatives, housed in FSC-certified recycled sleeves.
- An overstock management program designed to prevent vinyl destruction.

Diversity + inclusion
We are passionate about fostering an inclusive workplace where all employees feel heard, valued, and treated fairly, regardless of gender, ethnicity, neurodiversity, or experience. Our approach is grounded in clear anti-discrimination policies, a culture that invites all team members into the conversation, and ongoing collaboration with industry bodies to evaluate and strengthen our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) standards.
Community engagement
We actively support the global music sector and broader creative community through meaningful partnerships and initiatives, including:
- Co-founding the Impala Sustainability Strike Force, developed to elevate environmental practices across Europe’s independent music sector.
- Serving on the board of advisors at Murmur, a charity founded by creatives and climate strategy leaders to empower visual artists and musicians to drive environmental change.
- Providing resources to students facing inequality through our second-year partnership with Berlin’s Ernst-Reuter-Schule.
AI Policy
We recognise the growing role of AI in the creative industries and support its use when applied responsibly and transparently. We believe that both music and artwork generated wholly or primarily by AI should be developed with respect for intellectual property, not by AI models trained on copyrighted materials without appropriate licensing from the relevant rights holders.
Our position is grounded in supporting creators, valuing original work, and encouraging the ethical and lawful use of emerging technologies across all forms of content.
