This personal passion translates into how we approach our work: with sensitivity, commitment and in-depth understanding of music and culture. 

A friendly and open office culture is very important to us as a result we aim to maintain a relaxed and open atmosphere with minimal hierarchies. Our head office is based in Berlin’s Wedding district part of the Silent Green cultural quarter. We work primarily in English.

Music Distribution & Logistics Coordinator

Passionate about music, logistics, and orchestrating seamless distribution? K7 Music seeks a Distribution & Logistics Coordinator to lead sustainable and cost-efficient music product delivery for our in-house and external label clients. POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Distribution & Logistics Coordinator, you’ll support the physical supply chain team in the day to day business of a cost-efficient vinyl, CD and merch distribution. Your primary focus will be on implementing strategies and workflows for efficient transportation, warehousing, and delivery of our diverse music catalog to meet the needs of our esteemed in-house and external label clients. Collaborate closely with various internal teams and external partners to optimize our order processes maintaining high-quality and cost efficiency standards.
This is a part time position (25h/week) with the option to increase in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • oversee orders and logistics operations for music product distribution, inventory management, and warehouse coordination
  • Liaise with external vendors, carriers, and partners to optimize delivery processes and ensure timely shipments
  • Continuously analyze logistics processes, identify areas for improvement in sustainability and cost efficiency, and support implementing innovative solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistical activities with a focus on sustainability metrics and cost savings.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • logistics experience/understanding, preferably in distribution within music or entertainment.
  • Understanding of distribution processes, supply chain principles, sustainability practices, and logistics software.
  • Previous experience with inventory management systems is a plus
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in logistics software is a plus and MS Office Suite especially Excel
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Openness to learn and for personal and professional development

!K7 MUSIC – DIGITAL MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER (DE/UK)

!K7 Music is looking for an ambitious and highly driven social media and digital marketing professional to join the Marketing team.

Location: Berlin preferred but other locations considered.

THE ROLE

You will work alongside our A&R, marketing teams and label managers to lead, strategise and implement social media and digital marketing campaigns for our in-house labels !K7 Records, Strut, 7K!, and priority distribution projects. You will also work closely with our roster of artists to provide creative insight, strategy and analysis. The role will include asset commission, content creation and campaign execution, managing our social media accounts and actively growing engagement and audiences. 

You will lead all aspects of digital advertising campaigns for our in-house labels, with a strong ability to measure, analyse and influence effectiveness and positive results.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • 1+ years of experience of working for a record label.
  • A good understanding of !K7 Music’s in-house labels musical contexts, audiences and ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of working innovative and successful campaigns.
  • Experience of paid advertising and community management.
  • Ability to learn, prioritise tasks and adapt to lead the team on market changes and innovations within the digital landscape.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively to a broad range of stakeholders across all release campaigns.
  • Video editing and basic design skills are preferred.
  • Having a knowledge of the music we release and a passion for storytelling is a must.
