Anticipation has been steadily building for Jackmaster’s DJ-Kicks, and for good reason. Quite simply, everything the man touches is quality. On DJ-Kicks, his legendary knack for selection extends to the exclusive music he sourced for the mix. We recently shared an exclusive track from Denis Sulta, and this week i-D lets loose with a huge track from Tessela. Laced with skittering, jungle-influenced percussion and a murderous bassline, “Up” is one of the highlights of the mix, and an indication of just how seriously both of these musicians take their craft.
